Koko Matsumoto (松本 香子, Matsumoto Kōko) is a supporting character of the Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! series. She is a girl who was in a club with Miyako in high school. Although Miyako barely remembers her, Koko has been obsessively fixated on her, acting like a stalker.
Appearance[]
Koko is a young woman with long brown hair and dark brown eyes. She usually wears a white striped T-shirt and a pink top.
Personality[]
Koko is a cheerful and approachable young woman, with noticeable bright smile. She effortlessly chats with strangers and is quick to lend a helping hand. But when the topic of "Miyako Hoshino" comes up, a different side of Koko emerges. She switches to a scary demeanor, which makes people around feel that something's not quite right.
Koko has been fixated on Miyako since their high school days. Her behavior around Miyako is unsettling and suspicious, often causing Miyako to feel uneasy. Despite this, she gets overly excited whenever Miyako gives her something, which only adds to Miyako's fear of her.
Story[]
In episode 6, Koko makes her debut, helping Hinata, Hana, and Noa search for Miyako on the college. While Miyako naps on a bench with Hinata and the others, enjoying some sweets, Koko quietly approaches from behind. When Hinata notices her and calls out, Miyako wakes up and accidentally bumps into Koko's head.
Taking the opportunity, Koko confesses her long-standing crush on Miyako from their high school days and begins obsessing over her, though Miyako barely remembers her. Hana becomes suspicious of Koko, worried she might be stalking Miyako, and considers calling the cops. Sensing the tension, Koko quickly pretends to leave but secretly hides behind a nearby tree, keeping an eyes on Miyako.

Miyako Hoshino[]
After a year of obsessing over Miyako like a stalker, Koko begins to consider Miyako her "best friend," even though Miyako barely remembers their first encounter. However, as time passes, their relationship starts to improve. Koko continues to offer her support to Miyako, winning her trust gradually.
Yuna Matsumoto[]
Koko is an older sister of Yu, they share each other an undeniable bond. They often spends time taking a walk together with a their puppy, not only for physical activity but also as opportunities to shares their moment together.
Chizuru Hoshino[]
Koko tells Miyako's mother that she's a friend, allowing her to enter Miyako's home. She assures Chizuru that she'll take care of Miyako, and Chizuru trusts her. Koko also affectionately refers to Chizuru as "mom."
Hinata Hoshino[]
In the dynamic between Hinata and Koko, Miyako serves as a focal point. Their friendship revolves around discussing Miyako. Even though they're different ages, Hinata calls Koko by her last name without any formalities, like "Matsumoto" instead of "Matsumoto-san," showing how close they are.
Noa Himesaka[]
After Noa helps Koko find her puppy and younger sister, her opinion of Koko changes from negative to viewing her more favorably. She starts to see the benefits of being friends with Koko. Occasionally, reaches out to Koko by phone to seek information about Miyako.
